Depth Anything 3 Shines in Depth Work
I was knee-deep in debugging my open-source CV repo when I first tried Depth Anything 3 for depth estimation in 3D reconstructions. It's seriously impressive how it pulls accurate depth from single images, and the 3D output holds up well in real pipelines, tackling edge cases that usually trip me up. Setup's easy if you're familiar with Python environments, and the README is actually useful, though I suppose I'm just quibbling over wanting more examples. It's open-source with a permissive license, and in my last PR, it slotted right in without any fuss.
