Full-Stack Apps That Fall Over When You Breathe On Them
I generated a CRUD app with Bolt.new and immediately tried to add authentication. The AI rewrote half my working routes, introduced a circular dependency, and broke the database connection. The initial generation is impressive. Everything after that is a gamble. Until the iterative editing improves dramatically, this is a demo, not a development tool.

Impressive Demo, Fragile in Practice
Bolt.new generates full-stack apps from prompts and runs them in-browser. The first version usually looks great. Then you try to iterate and things get weird — it sometimes rewrites working code, loses track of state, or introduces regressions. Good for throwaway prototypes. I wouldn't build anything production on it yet.
